Flying saucer photographed over Barrancabermeja, Colombia 9-Mar-2012

This daytime photo of some kind of disc-shaped UFO was taken  over in Colombia on  Friday, 9th March 2012.

Here’s a translation of the video provided to us by one of our readers (thanks!):

Two unidentified flying objects were photographed when they were in the Barrancabermeja refinery.

The photojournalist, Edgar Malagon, says that while on a photography work at the refinery in Barrancabermeja, his camera captured images of two UFOs that were in the vicinity of the oil complex.

Said the photographer of the mayor of Barrancabermeja, which at the time of the photographs of UFOs, was doing work for a documentary on the oil city of Colombia.

He argued that the two UFOs flew over him at a distance no greater than one kilometer and the clouds.

He said that the shape was oval, very perfect and they were going at high speed.

Alien base entrance appears then vanishes 2012
Washington – A man named Red Elk is one of the only people alive known to have ever seen the mysterious hole.

A Native American Shaman, or medicine man, Red Elk said his dad first showed him the hole in 1961.

“He said ‘This is an endless hole,’” Red Elk said.

Red Elk’s been back many times and said strange things happen every time he goes near it.

“People get it confused with what I call the devil’s hole,” he said.

Many locals claim to know about the hole, but it didn’t become phenomena until 1997, when Mel Waters went on the Coast to Coast radio show with Art Bell.

“I brought the dogs with me.” Waters said on the show. “They wouldn’t go anywhere near the damn thing.”

Waters said the hole had a three-foot stone wall around it.

It seemed bottomless to him, so he used an old shark fisherman’s trick — sending thousands of feet of fishing line down.

“What I did, was I sent down a roll of lifesavers,” he said. “So when it hit water the lifesavers would dissolve.”

But the lifesavers came back up whole — no water — so how deep was this hole?

Waters said he believed it descended miles into the earth and he heard strange stories about its powers.

“One guy claims that he threw his departed canine down into the hole,” he said. “He swears the dog actually came back to him.”

Red Elk said it was when Waters went public that the trouble began.

“Now I’m going public on this. And that could land me in a pile of junk,” he said.

Red Elk claims the government has a secret base there.

“An underground base, a very small, underground base,” he said.

That’s how Red Elk explains the white boxes covering the area on some satellite images.

He also said he’s seen “alien activity” in the area.

“A huge space craft, one, will appear and hover over the hole,” he said.

That’s what he said happens during Summer Solstice, when space men load and unload things at the hole before flying away.

Intelligence papers on a reported UFO sighting known as the “Rendlesham incident” have gone missing, files from the National Archives reveal. The missing files relate to a report of mysterious lights from US servicemen at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk in 1980. The disappearance came to light with the release of 8,000 previously classified documents on UFOs. Officials found a “huge” gap where defence intelligence files relating to the case should be, the papers show. The incident took place near the fence of RAF Woodbridge – at that time being used by the US Air Force. A group of servicemen reported seeing strange lights in the trees near the base and after investigating found marks on the ground and damage to vegetation. The files reveal the MoD received a request for its own records of the incident in 2000, but when officials looked they discovered a “huge” gap where defence intelligence files relating to it should be. But it is not the only gap in the official record. In 2002 the MoD received a request for information from Lord Hill-Norton. He wanted to know about reports of a UFO sighting made by HMS Manchester while on exercise in the 1990s. It emerged in the file that HMS Manchester’s log for one of the periods was lost overboard after “a gust of wind”.

If Newt Gingrich makes it to the White House, America will launch an ambitious programme to colonise the Moon, according to the latest exotic pledge to emerge on the Republican campaign trail. The former House Speaker, who is running Mitt Romney a close second in the race for his party’s presidential nomination, made the announcement during a rally on the “space coast” of Florida, where Nasa is a major employer. Mr Gingrich told a crowd that his permanent US Moon base would be established by 2020. And once its population has reached the legal minimum of 13,000, he promised to support any effort by residents to turn the Moon into the 51st state of the USA. “By the end of my second term, we will have the first permanent base on the Moon and it will be American,” he said. Admitting that announcing the “bold” vision was the “weirdest thing I have ever done”, Mr Gingrich told supporters that if elected president, he would instruct Nasa to send a rocket to Mars within the same time frame. The proposal met with mirth from Mr Gingrich’s opponents, who oppose “Big Government” spending at a time when deficit reduction is a Republican mantra. However, it has some chance of support in Florida, where 10,000 jobs were lost after the recent closure of the satellite programme.

A team of salvage divers has discovered an unexplained object resting at the bottom of the Baltic Sea near Sweden. “This thing turned up. My first reaction was to tell the guys that we have a UFO here on the bottom,” said Peter Lindberg, the leader of the amateur treasure hunters. Sonar readings show that the mysterious object is about 60 meters across, or, about the size of a jumbo jet. And it’s not alone. Nearby on the sea floor is another, smaller object with a similar shape. Even more fascinating, both objects have “drag marks” behind them on the sea floor, stretching back more than 400 feet. It could just be another shipwreck. Or, mud. But Lindberg says the ship theory doesn’t really hold up because of the unusually large size of the objects. The Baltic Sea is a literal treasure trove for salvage teams and a “shipwreck laboratory” for researchers. The sea’s low salinity levels help preserve objects that sink to the bottom. Said sonar expert Ardreas Olsson, “I’m not sure what you will see when you go down. But I’m excited. It’s going to be interesting to see what it is.”
